Just a few simple ingredients from home and you can make great tasting homemade bread!!
     GRANDMA NONNIE’S PUMPKIN BREAD

1. Briefly stir pumpkin bread dry mix with a whisk and set aside.

Tip: Keep refrigerated for best flavor!

2. Combine the following ingredients
 together and mix thoroughly.
·        4 eggs
·        1 small can pumpkin (16oz.)
·        1 cup vegetable oil
·        2/3 cup water
·        **1 cup chopped walnuts are an option

3. Add dry mix to the above ingredients about 1/3 at a time and mix well.
4. Grease bottom and sides of regular 2 size loaf pans or 3 medium size loaf pans. Pans will be approx. ½ to 2/3 full.
5. Bake at 350° approximately 50 – 60 minutes. Insert knife into middle of bread; if it comes out clean or just slightly soiled, the bread is done. (Shorter bake time if mix is in 3 medium loaf pans).

HANDY TIPS:
1.     Make individual size loaves for a quick snack!
2.    Store dry mix up to 6 months in dark, cool place.
3.    Store dry mix up to 1 year in freezer (recommended if nuts are in the mix).
4.    Freeze baked breads for up to 6 months!
5.    Great as gifts!

Grandma Nonnie's Pumpkin Bread

August 12 2008, 2:10 PM

I am trying out an idea. Since everyone loves my Pumpkin Nut Bread when I make it during the holidays, I thought that perhaps selling the dry ingredients and having the consumer add the four remaining products, would help me to raise money for the non-profit organization that I volunteer for.

It is always a good idea to do some market research for any product you wish to sell. So I am passing out packaged dry good ingredients to a few people - that I trust will help me out - by giving me feedback about my product.

So for those of you to whom I have given pumpkin bread dry ingredients, would you mind answering some questions for me?

1. Did you like the finished product?

2. Did you find it easier to have the dry ingredients prepared already?

3. Would you purchase this as a gift for someone else? If so, would you like it to come with loaf pans, can of pumpkin, etc?

4. Would you purchase this product?

5. What would you be willing to pay for this product?

6. Were the instructions easy to follow?

Thank you so much for your help!
